The Adrenaline Impact iRacing Malaysia Championship came back on air with a bang at the legendary Mount Panorama circuit in Bathurst, with the new Kia Optima and plenty of thrills and spills! Quick rookies and the new guard of drivers came to the fore as we saw newcomers Tengku Djan Ley and James Russell transfer from the real world of motorsports and bring serious pace into the 375hp FWD touring cars, while Lloyd Laughlin and Mycil Hafez had new found pace at the front of the field. But some things never change, and Kelvinder Singh led the field in the same style he had in the previous season. However, with a record 3 safety car deployments, the whole field was thrown into chaos, and in the end, several drivers failed to take their mandatory pitstop! In the end, it took a team of expert stewards to determine the result, with Rueben Wong of Team URT Pink taking home the top prize! After a dramatic season opener, who knows what will happen at the next round in Silverstone? There’s only one way to find out at the next round of AIMC!
