The Adrenaline Impact iRacing Malaysia Championship came back on air with a bang at the legendary Mount Panorama circuit in Bathurst, with the new Kia Optima and plenty of thrills and spills! Quick rookies and the new guard of drivers came to the fore as we saw newcomers Tengku Djan Ley and James Russell transfer from the real world of motorsports and bring serious pace into the 375hp FWD touring cars, while Lloyd Laughlin and Mycil Hafez had new found pace at the front of the field. But some things never change, and Kelvinder Singh led the field in the same style he had in the previous season. However, with a record 3 safety car deployments, the whole field was thrown into chaos, and in the end, several drivers failed to take their mandatory pitstop! In the end, it took a team of expert stewards to determine the result, with Rueben Wong of Team URT Pink taking home the top prize! After a dramatic season opener, who knows what will happen at the next round in Silverstone? There’s only one way to find out at the next round of AIMC!

After an amazing season of wheel to wheel racing, the Adrenaline Impact iRacing Malaysia Championship came to a dramatic conclusion in the Charlotte Roval. Round 6 saw interesting battles up and down the field, along with a dramatic finale to the championship. Ahmad Noorazam of the Autohaus FCR Performance team headed into the final race with the championship lead, only needing to finish in 8th or higher, while Syaiful Ariffin needed second and Kelvinder Singh needing to pull out all the stops and win with the others faltering. Coming into the last lap after a strategic battle, Ahmad had an accident at the final corner, handing the championship to Syaiful, who came short in his challenge for the win with Kelvinder. In the end, Season 1 sees Syaiful Arrifin as the Driver’s Champion, and Autohaus FCR Performance clinching the Team’s Championship.
Season 2 will see faster cars, bigger teams and faster circuits, so tune in to Adrenaline Impact on the 2nd of August for the start of another dramatic season of racing! Thanks to all the teams and sponsors for supporting us, and thank you for watching, but for now, we will see you next season!
